Jaseng Hospital of Korean Medicine helps ‘Big boy’ Lee Dae Ho, baseball player’s health care.
The professional baseball player Lee Dae Ho, 35 years, receives help from the Jaseng Hospital of Korean Medicine for this season’s wounds and health care.
Jaseng Hospital of Korean Medicine and Lee Dae Ho made a medical sponsorship agreement for health care at Haeundae Jaseng Hospital of Korean Medicine located in Busan.
According to this agreement, Lee Dae Ho, his wife, and his family members will be provided with musculoskeletal medical treatment, as well as herbal medicine like “Youkong-dan” from Jaseng Hospital of Korean Medicine.
Prior to the agreement, the Haeundae Jaseng Hospital Director Kim Sang Don checked Lee Dae Ho’s current body condition and performed acupuncture and Chuna Therapy.
Lee Dae Ho made his debut in Korea’s professional baseball in 2001, won gold medal in the 2008 Beijing Olympics, awarded for 7 prizes for hitting champion in 2010, becoming Korea’s leading No. 4 batter. He then went to overseas leagues including Japan’s “Softback hawks” and “Seattle Mariners” in the United States.
At the beginning of the year, he came back to Korea and played in all games of the season; recording a batting average of 4 and 5 homeruns, he’s been leading the team as he slugs the ball.
“I made the agreement, because I was usually interested in the Korean medicine and herbal medicine” said Lee Dae Ho, “I cannot help losing my condition in playing games in hot summer weathers, but I think Jaseng’s herbal medicine will help me to improve my conditions” he said.
“I will pay more attention to Lee Dae-ho’s health care management so that he could concentrate more on his training and demonstrating his skills” said the Hospital Director Kim Sang Don, “I wish the best for Lee Dae Ho in this season” he said.
Lee Dae Ho, his wife, family members will be able to receive medical treatment at any of the 19 clinics all around Korea.
