At the ceremony, professional sports athlete Karin Rustam Ilyasovic stated, “Our athletes were surprised that once they got the acupuncture treatment, their pain disappeared and their range of motion increased significantly. Through this agreement, future exchanges between these institutions will be made possible, and I very much look forward to that.”
Dr. Kim continued, “In the case of professional athletes, the injuries they develop from their training and competitions can have a devastating impact on their performance level. We hope to develop an injury healing program for athletes both inside and outside of Kazakhstan that will ensure that they are always competing at their best.”
