Jaseng Hospital Participates in Medicine Korea 2012

Spinal specialists at Jaseng Hospital of Korean Eastern Medicine participated in “Medical Korea 2012,” organized by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and conducted by the Korea Health Industry Development Institute.

The goal of the event is to attract foreign patients and spread awareness of Korea’s Eastern Medicine to the non-Korean community. The event took place in the Grand Ballroom of the COEX Intercontinental Hotel on Apr. 17-19, 2013. This large-scale international medical exhibition features more than 600 medical authorities from 55 different countries.

During this event, Jaseng set up a promotional booth to raise awareness of Jaseng’s non-surgical spinal treatment program. Videos and brochures were used as promotional materials, and back adjustments were conducted by medical authorities on volunteers desiring a physical demonstration.

More than 200 people, including Mr. Son, Geon-ik, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Health and Welfare, visited Jaseng’s promotional booth and expressed a lot of interest. As a result of the exhibition, Jaseng secured more than 25 business meetings with overseas medical authorities from various countries such as the U.S., Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Kirgizstan. One of the highlights of the event was a meeting that took place with the Cheon-ha Medical Insurance Company from the U.S. regarding steps on how to cover Korean Eastern medicine under a U.S. health care policy, specifically.

Korean Eastern medicine is becoming increasingly secure in its position as a high quality medical service with superior results. Jaseng will continuously participate in these types of international events, which will quickly spread the word among foreign patients overseas.
