Spine Relaxing ¡®Im Meridian¡¯ Strengthening Chuna Exercise

 

Spine Strengthening & Digestive System Improving, Im Meridian Strengthener
This Chuna Exercise is effective in strengthening the Im Meridian, which is located along the abdominal and chest muscles.

The Im meridian runs from the perineal region to the front of the face and runs parallel to the Dok meridian, which runs from the tailbone to the cervical vertebrae. The Im meridian helps our body to sustain strength.

The exercise shown below strengthens the Im meridian, stomach and spleen, buttock and leg muscles and the spine. It also relieves the tension in the large and small intestines, which in turn helps the body to excrete and digest easier and smoother.

 

Effective For These People
People who are heavy in the abdominal area. People who sigh frequently. People with poor posture. People with digestion problems.

Effect
Improves the function of the Internal Organs, Improves Digestion, Strengthens abdominal muscles, Strengthens back, hip, and hamstrings.

 

 

 

 

¡Ý Follow the Directions Below

1. Stand with your feet shoulder width apart, and your hands joined in front of your chest.

2. Deeply breathe out and with your back and neck aligned arch your back while pushing your hips forward, and raising your arms toward the ceiling. Try to hold the position for 8 seconds. Don¡¯t overdo it.

3. Deeply breathe in and return to an upright position.

4. In the event that it is too difficult instead of joining your hands spread your arms shoulder width apart then when you become accustomed to the position you can try joining your hands. Repeat 6 times.

*You should feel your abdominal muscles stretching. Be sure to keep the neck and back aligned.
