The Jaseng Herbal Medicine Dispensary, which manages 340 kinds of herbal ingredients and prepares its own herbal medicine, holds a tour once a month to showcase the production process. While touring the 6-story dispensary, participants get the opportunity to learn about the ingredients used and the process behind creating Jaseng’s Korean medicine. Ingredients at the Jaseng dispensary are put through a series of strict regulations and an automated system that ensures thorough hygiene management and quality preservation.

The dispensary tour consists of the following: An introductory presentation on the dispensary, a tour of the pharmaceutical room, a tour of the ingredient storage room, a tour of the decoction room, a tour of the pills room (with sample tasting), a visit to the packing room, and a visit to the delivery room.

The participants were amazed at the variety of herbal ingredients kept in the storage room and the amount of care that went into ensuring the purity of the ingredients. Mr. Kim Kyung-Dong, the deputy manager of the dispensary, emphasized that, “We take extra care to ensure that our ingredients are of the highest quality.”
