This international training group, consisting of six physicians in the field of neurology and rehabilitation medicine from Russia and Belarus, visited Jaseng Hospital of Korean Medicine to learn and experience the principles and effects of Korean medicine treatment. This clinical training program for international healthcare professionals is very meaningful in that the collaboration between conventional medicine and Korean medicine have achieved good outcomes with the launch of the 3rd stage of the ‘Integratvie Medical Collaboration of Conventional and Korean Medicine Pilot Project’ which began in last October by the Korean Ministry of Health and Welfare.

The clinical training program runs for three consecutive weeks until the 12th December. On the first day of the visit, the trainees toured the facilities of Jaseng Hospital of Korean Medicine and experienced Korean medicine treatment, and then started training.

The characteristic of this training program conducted by Jaseng Hospital of Korean Medicine is that a systematic curriculum has been prepared for trainees to make the best use of Korean medicine even after their returning home. It consists of lectures optimized for hands-on treatment practice as well as classes on basic theories of Korean medicine. In addition, all the lectures are conducted by the major medical staff of Jaseng Hospital of Korean Medicine.
